  • Account Information: The email address you provide during registration, used for account management and communication.
  • User Content: PDF files you upload and EPUB files generated.
  • Usage Data: Including access times, conversion records, credit usage and other log data.

2. Use of Information

The information we collect is used only for the following purposes:

  • Providing PDF to EPUB conversion services.
  • Maintaining and improving our service quality.
  • Processing your credit recharges and consumption records.
  • Sending notifications when necessary (such as service changes).

3. AI Data Processing

This service uses configured third-party AI services to process your documents.

  • Your document content may be sent through APIs to configured AI service providers solely to perform the requested conversion, including OCR, document analysis, and layout reconstruction.
  • PDF2EPUB does not use your documents to train its own models. Each AI provider processes data under its applicable API terms and privacy commitments, which may vary by provider, service tier, region, and configuration.
  • We will not manually review your document content unless specifically authorized by you for resolving technical support requests.

4. Data Retention & Security

  • File Retention: Uploaded PDFs and intermediate processing files are retained for task retries and automatically deleted 30 days after a task completes or fails. The final EPUB and extracted content remain available until you delete the task or your account. Deleting a task requests deletion of all of its stored files; account deletion follows the stated grace period. Please download your results promptly.
  • Data Security: We use industry-standard encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and secure storage technology to protect your data.

5. Third-Party Services

We use service providers where needed to operate PDF2EPUB, including configured AI providers for conversion, Supabase and Cloudflare for infrastructure, storage, and authentication, and Creem for payment processing. They process data under their applicable terms and privacy commitments.
